Chief Sales Officer (all genders)
You are responsible for the strategic and operational development, implementation and achievement of the sales vision and strategy of the corvaglia group. You ensure operational sales management and performance at all locations at a consistently high level with the aim of increasing the company value and establishing and expanding long-term customer relationships.
You will have overall responsibility for all closure sales activities within the company. Through your activities, you generate and increase growth. You will conduct C-level sales negotiations, acquire and manage our key accounts. You develop new business lines, increase market share and conduct competitive analyses. You will lead the Closure Business Development as well as – dotted line – the Sales Directors of the Closure Business Units in cooperation with the regional General Managers of the locations.
For this challenging role, you will need a degree in STEM subjects or a business degree with a focus on sales & marketing in the plastics/packaging industry. You have at least 15 years of professional experience in sales and marketing and experience in an internationally oriented industrial environment with a high export share and C-level responsibility. In addition, this challenging position requires at least 15 years of leadership experience with teams of 10+ in sales and business development, organised internationally.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, communicative personality with strong negotiation and representation skills. You are familiar with the industry and have good networking skills. Due to our international nature, travel is approx. 50%.
